A Realtor, A Coffee Cup, and a Few Red Lights
This morning I was driving to an appointment with my travel mug full of coffee, feeling pretty confident about my day. Then I realized I had left an important folder back at the Home Office. (ugh)
Back I went.
On the way, I got behind a school bus, hit every red light in town, and somehow managed to drip coffee on my shirt. By then I was laughing at myself because there wasn’t much else I could do!
As I pulled into the parking lot, I took one more sip of coffee and thought, “Well, at least I’m still contributing to world peace.”
Because let’s be honest … some days coffee isn’t just a beverage-it’s a ministry. It helps us be a little more patient, a little more cheerful, and a little less likely to honk at the person who stops three car lengths before the stop sign.
The good news? I made it to my appointment, my clients never knew about my morning adventures, and the coffee did its job.
Today’s Lesson: Life doesn’t have to be perfect to be good. Sometimes all you need is a grateful heart, a sense of humor, and a fresh cup of coffee.
Have a wonderful day, friends!
